Porsche 911 Targa, Silver & Grey

The Singer 911 takes the air-cooled 964-generation Porsche and reworks it with obsessive intent: every panel reimagined in carbon, the proportions tightened, the details re-engineered to a standard the original factory never aimed for. This is the Targa: the removable centre panel and the brushed roll-hoop give it an open, daylight character that the coupé lacks, while the Fuchs-style wheels, recessed Porsche script and slim bumpers keep it rooted in the look of the early 911. It is a car built for owners who already know exactly what an air-cooled 911 feels like and wanted someone to refine it. The red leather interior glimpsed through the open roof is the only loud note on an otherwise disciplined design.

The model is finished in a cool pale silver-grey with a deep gloss that catches the curve of the rear haunches, the red cabin and oxblood script providing the contrast. Make Up builds it at 1:18 on a presentation base, down to the fluted rear grille and the twin centre-exit tailpipes.
