Porsche 911 Gunther Werks 400R, White with Green Wheels

The 400R came from Gunther Werks, the Porsche venture led by Peter Nam, whose company Vorsteiner carried the project from first idea to finished car. It was made public in August 2017 as a series of 25, each built from a 993, the final air-cooled generation of the 911, which Gunther Werks chose for its suspension. Every car leaves with a 4.0-litre air-cooled flat-six of more than 400 hp, a Getrag G50 six-speed manual gearbox and carbon fibre bodywork, its arches widened by 30 mm.

Here the car is white, with twin black stripes edged in green running over the bonnet and roof. Green is the accent throughout: the five-spoke wheels are painted green with polished rims, a green stripe along each sill carries PORSCHE in white, and the lettering across the engine lid is green as well. A carbon splitter sits under the nose, and the rear has the full-width light bar, a Gunther Werks plate and twin central tailpipes. Inside, the cabin is black and light grey, with green check centres in the carbon-shelled bucket seats. The carbon pattern base carries a plaque naming Timothy & Pierre and the Gunther Werks 400R, marked as a limited edition. Timothy & Pierre builds it at 1:18.
