SSR Performance builds its SSR RS package for the 992 GT3 RS, a car most owners would think needed no help on a circuit. The kit, tested in the wind tunnel, centres on a new front splitter with integrated dive planes, gurney flaps on the rear wing endplates and the ducktail, and forged aluminium wheels with built-in aero discs to cut drag. A revised suspension and brake pads chosen separately for each axle complete the full version, and SSR also sells lighter aero-only stages. Its own wind tunnel figures claim a 60 per cent rise in front-axle downforce in the high-downforce setting, a large gain on a car that already makes 860 kg of downforce at 285 km/h in standard form.
The model wears the kit's own colours: gloss black paint with lime green graphics. A broad lime band carries the SSR RS name along each side, lime strakes mark the front arches, and the wing endplates and the aero discs inside the black forged wheels are lime too. The windscreen banner and the seat backs repeat the SSR logo, and the German plates read M RS 7911. Inside, red belts show against the black cabin. The car stands on a white leather base stitched in red, with a plaque giving the GT3 RS figures and the edition, one of 8. It is built at 1:18.
