Porsche took the cooling layout of the 992 GT3 RS from racing. It uses one large radiator, set at an angle in the centre of the nose, a concept first used on the 911 RSR that won its class at Le Mans. The bodywork around it follows the same thinking: louvred openings in the front wings ventilate the wheel arches, and side blades behind the arch intakes direct air outwards along the flanks. The engine is a high-revving 4.0-litre flat-six of 525 PS, its extra power coming mainly from new camshafts with revised cam profiles.
This car is painted in Paint to Sample Racing Green, a deep metallic green that turns teal in the light, with orange GT3 RS script and stripe along the sills and orange RS lettering on the wing endplates. The bonnet centre is bare carbon, the satin black centre-lock wheels sit over dark brake discs, and the louvres and side blades are black. The matching box on top is a Porsche by Thule, carried on a black rack that rises from the rear deck above the swan-neck wing. GT3 RS plates sit front and rear. The white leather base has red stitching. IVY builds it at 1:18.
