Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Pleiades

The 991.2 GT3 RS was the most extreme naturally aspirated 911 of its generation: a 4.0-litre flat-six spinning to 9,000rpm, a magnesium roof, and aerodynamics borrowed wholesale from the racing department. Everything here is in service of the lap time: the deep front splitter, the side blades feeding the rear arches, and that enormous swan-neck wing standing clear of the deck. It is a road car built by people who think in apexes, made for the driver who wants the loudest, most honest version of the breed.

The colour is the point on this one: a chameleon "Pleiades" finish that swings from deep aubergine to oxblood and bronze as it turns under light, set against bronze centre-lock wheels and a gold GT3 RS script along the flank.
