Porsche 911 GT3 RS MR, White

Manthey Racing grew up at the Nürburgring. The team from Meuspath, a few minutes from the circuit, won the Nürburgring 24 Hours four years running from 2006 with Porsche 911 GT3 race cars, and that knowledge of the Nordschleife now goes into parts for Porsche's road cars, sold as Manthey Kits through Porsche itself. Porsche says the kit for the 992 GT3 RS took two years of development and endurance testing. The result is not subtle: a new wing profile, a carbon shark fin, additional roof fins and carbon aero discs on the wheels, together good for more than 1,000 kg of downforce at 285 km/h, with semi-active suspension and stiffer springs to carry the extra load.

This one keeps the colours plain so the hardware does the talking. The body is gloss white, with a black carbon bonnet, black stripes over the roof and front wings, a Manthey banner across the windscreen and small Manthey lettering low on the doors. The carbon swan-neck wing carries large black endplates with the red Manthey logo, and the aero discs on the rear wheels are gold to match the gold multi-spoke rims. Yellow calipers sit behind the front wheels, there are yellow details in the cabin, and a Florida dealer plate is fixed at the rear. The black plaque on its stitched white leather base names Manthey Racing and gives the edition as one of 16. It is built at 1:18.
