Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport, Red & White & Black

Porsche unveiled the 911 GT3 R rennsport at Rennsport Reunion 7 at Laguna Seca on 28 September 2023, as a limited run of 77 cars based on the 992-generation 911 GT3 R. It was built to go beyond the limits of FIA rules and Balance of Performance: its naturally aspirated 4.2-litre flat-six revs to 9,400 rpm and makes up to 611 hp, against up to 557 hp for the GT3 R, and the target kerb weight is 1,240 kg. Grant Larson and Thorsten Klein of Style Porsche designed the body, and only the bonnet and roof carry over from the GT3 R. The rear wing gains two extra vertical supports that recall the 962. Among the special designs Porsche offered was Flacht, in the red and white of Porsche Motorsport, named after the district at Weissach where the motorsport department sits.

This car wears that red and white scheme with black: a white nose with a bare carbon bonnet centre, red and black flanks and white 911 number boards on the doors. PORSCHE runs across the windscreen and along the sills. The wheels are dark grey multi-spoke rims on Michelin tyres with blue lettering, and the red tail leaves the twin central tailpipes and diffuser exposed beneath the tall wing. It stands on a carbon-pattern base. It is built at 1:18.
