Porsche 911 GT2 RS, Tiffany Blue

The 991-generation GT2 RS was Porsche's most extreme rear-engined road car of its day: a 700hp twin-turbo flat-six driving the rear wheels alone, with no all-wheel-drive safety net and a Nürburgring lap that, for a time, made it the fastest production car on the Nordschleife. Its intent is clear in the details: the fixed swan-neck rear wing, the ducted carbon bonnet venting heat from the front, the deep front splitter and the magnesium-light wheels. This is the 911 stripped of comfort and pointed squarely at the track, a car built for drivers who understand exactly what they are asking of it.

Finished in a soft Tiffany-style mint turquoise with a body-colour wing and gloss-black centre stripe, the colour reads as a deliberate counterpoint to the car's hard edges. The exposed carbon on the air intake and rear deck is picked out cleanly against the pastel paint, and the gloss-black wheels with yellow ceramic-brake calipers ground the whole thing.
