Singer's Dynamics and Lightweighting Study is the most extreme air-cooled 911 the California firm has built: a 964 stripped to its carbon-fibre essence around a 4.0-litre flat-six developed with Williams Advanced Engineering, the technology arm of the Williams Formula 1 team. The obsession shows in the details: the wing-mounted oil filler, the ducktail spoiler that hardens into a rear wing on the move, the centre-lock motorsport wheels and the louvred rear deck feeding cool air to the engine. The classic 911 silhouette is intact, but every panel has been reconsidered for downforce and weight, the "Carrera" script along the flank a quiet nod to the donor car's lineage. It is built for the owner who wants the soul of the original 911 sharpened to a racing edge.
