Nissan unveiled the R35 GT-R at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. Its 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, the VR38DETT, was hand assembled by Takumi craftsmen in a dust-proof, temperature-controlled room at the Yokohama plant, and the car was the first with an independent rear-mounted transaxle in an all-wheel-drive layout, which brought weight distribution to 54:46. Liberty Walk, founded in 1993 and based in Owariasahi in Aichi under Wataru Kato, launched its LB-WORKS GT-R at the 2013 SEMA Show and followed it with the LB-WORKS GT-R Type 2 at SEMA in 2017. The LB-WORKS method is to cut into the factory body and rivet on wide works fenders, a style the company traces to the street racers of Showa-era Japan.

Make Up finishes it in Pearl White with a bare carbon bonnet, riveted overfenders, a black front splitter with canards and a tall rear wing lettered LB Performance, with a Rising Sun flag on its endplate. ADVAN, Forgiato and Liberty Walk decals run along the body, and a line of script crosses each door. Black multi-spoke wheels fill the arches, and four blue-tinted tailpipes sit in the rear diffuser. The car stands on a blue suede base with pink stitching and cut metal lettering. Make Up builds it at 1:18.
