The G-Class earned its reputation in the desert and the Alps before it ever reached the valet stand, and the G63 is the version that pushed that uncompromising shape into pure indulgence. This is the stretched, long-wheelbase interpretation: the upright slab sides, exposed door hinges and round headlamps left intact, but the cabin pulled out to limousine length with an extra set of rear doors. Under the bonnet sits AMG's hand-built twin-turbo V8, and the details here tell the story: the AMG Panamericana grille, the side-exit exhausts behind the front wheels, the spare wheel cradled on the tailgate, the red calipers peering through gloss-black multi-spoke wheels.
