The McLaren P1 was Woking's answer to the question of how a road car could inherit Formula 1 thinking without apology: a 903bhp petrol-electric hybrid built around a carbon MonoCage tub, with active aero that hunkers the body down under load and a DRS-style flap borrowed straight from the pit lane. Only 375 were made between 2013 and 2015, and it remains the car that proved McLaren could build a hypercar with the same instinct it brought to the grid. This example wears a Senna tribute treatment (Marlboro-style red and white split, race number 12, the Brazilian flag and "Drive to Perfection" branding along the flank), a nod to Ayrton Senna's McLaren years rather than a factory scheme.
The split is laid down cleanly, the gloss red breaking against white over exposed carbon at the splitter, sills and diffuser, with the photochromic-style canopy and satin black forged wheels finishing it. It is built at 1:18 on a presentation base. A pointed homage for anyone who connects the marque to its greatest driver.
