Maserati unveiled the Grecale on 22 March 2022, a mid-size SUV named after a Mediterranean wind, on the Giorgio platform it shares with the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and assembled at Cassino. The Trofeo sits at the top of the petrol range. Its 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 is a version of the Nettuno engine from the MC20 supercar, with Maserati's twin-plug combustion, and it gives 530 PS at 6,500 rpm and 620 Nm. Maserati quoted 3.8 seconds to 62 mph and 177 mph. A more aggressive grille, carbon inserts in the bumpers and sills, 21-inch wheels, a wider rear track, air suspension and a sports exhaust all came as standard.
BBR paints this one gloss black, deep enough to mirror the surroundings. A green trident sits in the black grille, and the Trofeo script and three vents are on the front wings. The multi-spoke silver wheels show red brake callipers, and at the back a carbon diffuser holds four exhaust outlets under the Grecale plate. It stands on a pale grey leather base with the Grecale script. BBR builds it at 1:18.
