Leather Satchel, Porsche Crest Badge

An enamelled Porsche crest, the Stuttgart horse on its shield between the antlers and the red and black stripes, is mounted at the centre of the flap. The enamel is chipped in places. The satchel is in reddish brown leather, with two buckled straps closing the flap over a front pocket and a shoulder strap on steel rings.

Inside, an oval stamp names a maker in Bern with the number 50 at its centre, and a small cartouche beside it shows a cross above the letter M. The leather has a crazed, cracked surface across the flap and body, the strap keepers are worn and the edges are rubbed through in places. It is clearly a used bag.
