Leather Satchel, Ferrari Script Badge

The flap of this satchel carries the Ferrari name in chrome script, the long underlined lettering mounted across the centre of the dark brown leather. The flap is darker than the body, which is a lighter tan, and it closes with two buckled straps, each with its own keeper loop and plain steel roller buckle.

Inside, an oval saddler's stamp is pressed into the leather. Its middle line reads SATTLER, the German word for saddler, but the maker's name above it is worn away, and the number 40 is pressed beneath it. The bag is not new. The flap is scuffed and scratched, the leather is creased at the folds and the straps are worn at their holes and edges. A long leather shoulder strap with a steel buckle completes it.
