Leather Satchel, Bentley Winged B Badge

A winged B badge is fixed to the centre of the flap, its wings in a brass tone around a black enamel roundel with a raised B. The enamel is worn around the letter. The satchel is in dark brown leather, with a full-width flap closed by two buckled straps, a leather carrying strap across the top and a shoulder strap backed in suede.

Inside, an oval stamp reads W. SCHWARZ, 1937, EGLISAU, the mark of a maker in Eglisau. The flap is scratched and scuffed, the leather is creased and the strap keepers are worn grey at the edges. It is a used bag.
