Lamborghini Revuelto, Blue & Black

The Revuelto keeps Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V12 and opens a new chapter around it. Behind the cockpit sits a 6.5-litre V12 spun to 9,500rpm, now flanked by three electric motors and a plug-in battery, the first time Sant'Agata has put its flagship engine in a hybrid. The body reads like a deliberate break from the Aventador: a deeper Y-motif in the headlights, a fully exposed carbon monocoque structure, and a rear deck that abandons the engine cover for an open view of the V12 itself, flanked by the high-mounted hexagonal exhausts stacked above the diffuser. The forward-hinged doors and the slashed air intakes ahead of the rear wheels are pure Lamborghini theatre, but the proportions are tauter, built around a driver who wants the analogue scream and the silent electric crawl in the same machine.

Finished in a deep metallic blue over gloss black flanks and structural carbon, set on black multi-spoke wheels, the contrast gives the car a darker, more nocturnal read than the brand's usual arrest-me brights.
