Lamborghini showed the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce at the Geneva show in 2009 as the sharpest version of its V12 flagship. Revised valve timing and a reworked intake took the 6.5-litre engine to 670 hp, 30 more than before, and the factory took 100 kg out of the car by working over almost every part of it, from chassis, engine and gearbox to the interior. The result reached 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 342 km/h flat out. New bodywork front and rear and a new engine cover set it apart, with buyers choosing between a small rear spoiler and a large fixed wing. Lamborghini planned a limited series of 350 cars.
This model wears the large carbon wing, finished in a matte light blue with a fine metallic flake. The SV graphic sweeps across each rear wing in silver and Murciélago is lettered along the sills, with carbon for the diffuser, the side intakes and the rear wing supports. The chrome wheels have blue outer rims, and through the glass the seats are white. It stands on a white leather base stitched in red, under a mirrored plaque naming the Murciélago LP 670-4 SV and numbering it in an edition of 8. It is built at 1:18.
