Liberty Walk started in Nagoya in 1993 as Wataru Kato's used-car business, and its look came from the bosozoku tradition of flared wings riveted straight onto the body. The wide style that made its name first appeared on a Lamborghini Murciélago, and the Lamborghini work proved so popular that it became a division of its own, LB Performance. On the Aventador the company replaces whole panels rather than cutting the originals, and its kits add a new front bumper and splitter, side skirts, a large rear diffuser, riveted wheel-arch extensions and a tall carbon wing. Here that treatment is applied to the SVJ, the 770 CV Aventador that set a production-car record at the Nürburgring in 2018.
This model is painted a soft light blue over gloss black, with black for the roof, the sills and the lower body, and LB Performance lettered along each side. Liberty Walk banners cross the top of the windscreen and the rear wing, rivet heads ring the widened arches, and silver multi-spoke wheels sit on Pirelli P Zero tyres. The wing endplates are painted to match the body. It stands on a white leather base stitched in red, under a mirrored plaque reading LB Performance, Aventador SVJ, Limited, one of 8, and Davis & Giovanni. Davis & Giovanni builds it at 1:18.
