Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, Green & Purple

Lamborghini revealed the Aventador SVJ at The Quail during Monterey Car Week in August 2018, and the same weekend showed the SVJ 63 on the concept lawn at Pebble Beach, 63 cars in honour of the company's founding year. The figures were the strongest any series V12 Lamborghini had carried: 770 CV and 720 Nm from the 6.5-litre engine, 1,525 kg dry, 2.8 seconds to 100 km/h and more than 350 km/h. Much of the work went into the air. ALA, the active aerodynamics system, was built into a new front bumper with integrated side fins and a three-dimensional intake in the bonnet, while the tail carried a large wing over a deep carbon diffuser. The coupé was limited to 900 cars.

This SVJ is finished in a deep metallic green with purple and white. Purple covers the sills, the splitter and the lower rear, thin white lines trace the bonnet and the side intakes, a slim tricolore stripe runs over the bonnet, and a small Italian flag sits behind each door. White multi-spoke wheels stand out against the green, and the diffuser fins are edged in white. It sits on a white leather base stitched in red, under a mirrored plaque that names the car and reads Limited, one of 8. The model is built at 1:18.
