Lamborghini Aventador S, Matte Grey & Orange

The S arrived in December 2016, unveiled at the factory in Sant'Agata before its public debut at Geneva the following March, and it was a broader update than the name suggests. The 6.5-litre V12 rose to 740 PS, four-wheel steering became standard alongside permanent four-wheel drive, and the drive mode selector gained a fourth setting, Ego, which lets the driver choose steering, suspension and engine response separately next to the fixed Strada, Sport and Corsa modes. The shape stayed the long, low wedge of the original Aventador, sharpened at the nose and tail.

This one is finished in matt grey with a faint metallic sheen and picked out in orange. Twin orange stripes run from the nose over the roof and engine cover, and fine orange lines trace the front splitter, the intakes, the sills, the door blades and the rear diffuser; the mirror bases and brake calipers are orange too. Gloss black multi-spoke wheels, carbon mirror caps and a carbon rear wing complete the outside, and orange shows again inside against the black cabin. The car stands on a white leather base stitched in red, with a black plaque reading Lamborghini, Aventador S and Limited, one of 20. It is built at 1:18.
