Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster, Matte White

Superveloce is Italian for super fast, and the Aventador LP 750-4 SV raised the V12 to 750 PS while wider use of carbon fibre took weight out of the car. The coupé came first, at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, and the Roadster followed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance later that year, limited to 500 cars. It kept the SV's deeper front splitter, its reshaped intakes and the fixed carbon wing over the engine, and added a two-piece carbon roof that lifts off by hand and stows in the front luggage compartment.

This one is finished in matte white, with red graphics that strike like lightning across each rear haunch and a small DV shield on each rear wing. Black and carbon cover the splitter, sills, side intakes, mirrors and the big diffuser, and the cabin is black with red detailing on the seats. The wheels are not the factory design: silver Brixton Forged rims with three curving spokes, red centre-lock nuts and red calipers behind them. A Florida plate, DVS7150, sits in a Lamborghini Palm Beach frame at the tail. The model stands on a white leather base with red stitching, and its black plaque reads Aventador Roadster LP 750-4 SV and gives the edition as 8 pieces. It is built at 1:18.
