The SV letters first appeared on the Miura, and Lamborghini brought them back for the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce, announced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015. Power rose to 750 PS, about 50 kg came out of the car through more extensive use of carbon fibre, and production was limited to 600. The bodywork changed with it: a new front bumper with larger intakes, a reshaped tail with the exhausts set high in an open diffuser, and a large fixed wing above the engine cover. Where the earlier Aventador hid its aerodynamics, the SV put them on show.
This one is a deep metallic blue picked out in yellow. A fine yellow line runs along the splitter, the sills and the diffuser fins, yellow flashes cross the rear haunches, and yellow calipers show through bright silver ten-spoke wheels. The lower body, mirrors and wing are black carbon, two pairs of round tailpipes sit in the diffuser, and the rear plate carries the name of the American wheel maker Vossen. Inside, the black cabin has yellow details on the seats. The plaque on the red-stitched white leather base reads Lamborghini, Aventador LP 750-4 SV and Limited, one of 8. It is built at 1:18.
