The Aventador replaced the Murciélago in 2011 and changed almost everything beneath the skin. Lamborghini unveiled it on the eve of the Geneva show that March, built around a carbon fibre monocoque that the factory made in house, with an all-new 6.5-litre V12 mounted behind the cabin. The name followed the house pattern: 700 for the metric horsepower and 4 for four-wheel drive. The styling picked up where the limited Reventón had left off, all sharp creases and arrowhead lamps, and the car went on sale in 13 colours. Two of them were new, Grigio Estoque and Arancio Argos, the pearlescent orange Lamborghini chose for its launch pictures.

MR Collection finishes this model in that Arancio Argos, which it lists as Orange Argos. The paint deepens towards red in the shadows of the doors and lower flanks. The Y-shaped running lights, the mesh-backed intakes front and rear and the louvred engine cover are all crisply defined, the Aventador plate sits in the tail above the hexagonal exhaust, and the car rides on gloss black wheels. It stands on a carbon-weave base with a black leather-bound edge, with MR's red-lettered plaque at the front. MR Collection builds it at 1:18.
