Koenigsegg unveiled the One:1 at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014 and named it after a ratio: 1,360 PS for a weight of 1,360 kg, one metric horsepower for every kilogram. That output is also one megawatt, which is why Koenigsegg called it the world's first megacar. The engine was a development of the 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 used across the Agera range, giving 1,360 PS at 7,500 rpm and 1,371 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Six cars were built besides the Geneva show car, all of them sold, and in June 2015 a One:1 went from rest to 300 km/h and back to a standstill in 17.95 seconds.
FrontiArt shows the engine as it sits in the car, inside a black tubular rear subframe. Carbon covers sweep over the top of the engine, a horizontal damper across the rear carries a Triplex Suspension label, and gold-bodied Öhlins dampers stand at the corners. Drilled discs with orange calipers lettered Koenigsegg sit at the hubs, the gearbox hangs at the back, and the grey exhaust pipes curve past a heat shield marked Koenigsegg Titanium into a single outlet lettered One:1. The glossy carbon-weave base carries One:1 lettering and a plaque headed World record engine, with the engine's specification and the edition, one of 500. FrontiArt builds it in resin at 1:4.
