Koenigsegg showed the Jesko at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019, named it after Christian von Koenigsegg's father, Jesko, and sold out the car before the show had closed. Production is capped at 125. The engine is Koenigsegg's own twin-turbocharged V8 of 5,065cc, with a flat-plane crankshaft that saves 5 kg and raises the redline from 8,250 to 8,500 rpm. It makes 1,280 hp on petrol and 1,600 hp on E85, with 1,000 Nm and 1,500 Nm of torque respectively, and drives through Koenigsegg's own Light Speed Transmission, a gearbox of 90 kg that changes gear in 20 to 30 milliseconds.
FrontiArt models the V8 with the structure that carries it in the car: a tubular rear subframe in a grey metal finish, coil-over dampers, cross-drilled discs and orange calipers lettered Koenigsegg. Carbon-weave covers sit over the cylinder banks and intake, gold fasteners hold the panels, and carbon ducting wraps around the turbochargers, with a long duct sweeping out to a flat mouth on one side and a broad outlet at the rear. It stands on black posts above a carbon-weave base whose plaque carries the Koenigsegg name and shield, the Jesko script and the edition, one of 999. FrontiArt builds it in resin at 1:6.
