Gordon Murray revealed the T.50 in August 2020, and his company calls it the spiritual successor to the McLaren F1 he devised, built from 1992 to 1998. Like the F1, it seats the driver in the centre with a passenger on each side. The engine is a 3,994 cc naturally aspirated V12 developed by Cosworth, 663 PS at 11,500 rpm with a redline of 12,100 rpm, driving through a six-speed Xtrac manual gearbox, and the dry weight is 997 kg. At the tail is a 40 cm fan, an idea taken from Murray's Brabham BT46B Formula One car, which works with the active aerodynamics in six driver-selected modes. All 100 road cars were sold within 48 hours of the premiere, at £2.36 million each before taxes, and production began in Surrey in March 2023.

This piece is in Goodwood Green, a metallic that turns almost black in shadow and bright green along the flanks. Through the glass the central seat and its two flanking passenger seats show in tan-brown leather. The wheels are titanium-grey multi-spoke, with the drilled brake discs visible behind. At the back the fan sits in the middle of the black tail between round lamps and outlets, above a GMA plate, with the T.50 name in orange. The black leather base has red stitching and a T50 logo in orange. It is built at 1:18.
