The Daytona SP3's engine is the F140 HC, a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 of 840 PS and 697 Nm that revs to 9,500 rpm, taken from the 812 Competizione with titanium connecting rods and revised injection. It made the SP3 the first road-going, mid-engined V12 Ferrari without hybrid help since the Enzo of 2002. Drive goes to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox from the 812 Competizione. The aerodynamics are passive, with no large wings, and Ferrari quotes 2.85 seconds to 100 km/h and more than 340 km/h flat out. Dry weight is 1,485 kg.
This is the closed version, with the roof panel in place, in gloss F1 2007 red. The black roof and black five-spoke wheels, with red brake callipers behind, give it a darker look than the open cars, and carbon fills the front splitter, the sills and the cowl ahead of the screen. From behind, the horizontal louvres run the full width of the tail around the exhausts. The car stands on a red leather base with a black plaque at the front. BBR builds it at 1:43.
