The SA Aperta was introduced at the 2010 Paris Motor Show as an open version of the 599. The initials honour Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina, and Ferrari built 80 cars to match Pininfarina's 80th anniversary, all of them sold before the public unveiling. It used the engine and gearbox of the 599 GTO, a V12 of 670 PS at 8,250 rpm with 620 Nm, and Ferrari quoted 3.6 seconds to 100 km/h. The windscreen is more steeply raked than the GTB's, the windscreen frame and C-pillars are carbon fibre finished in silver, and the chromed five-spoke wheels were unique to the car. A removable soft top was fitted, but only for town use and to keep rain out of the cabin.
BBR models the Paris show car in Rosso Fuoco, a deep metallic red. The silver windscreen frame, mirrors and roll-over buttresses stand out against the paint, the cockpit has black seats edged in red, and the chromed five-spoke wheels show the grey brake discs behind them. The tail carries the SA Aperta badge between four exhaust outlets. It sits on a red leather base with a plaque at the front. BBR builds it at 1:43.
