The Monza SP1 was Ferrari's first Icona: a return to the open, screenless barchettas of the 1950s, reimagined on the 812 Superfast's 6.5-litre V12. It is a single-seater: where the passenger would sit, the bodywork is sculpted shut, leaving the driver alone behind a tiny "Virtual Wind Shield" deflector that channels air over the cockpit at speed. The flowing flanks, frameless wheel arches and quad exhausts seen here are pure addressed-to-the-few engineering; only 499 were built, sold first to Ferrari's most loyal clients. This is a car about sensation rather than practicality. It is the closest a modern road Ferrari comes to a vintage Mille Miglia racer.
Finished in Rosso Corsa with a white-bordered blue racing stripe running nose to tail in the French tricolore tradition, the example is presented with a matching driver's helmet on the base. The paint is deep and even, the carbon underbody and machined wheels crisply rendered. It is built at 1:18 and sits on a presentation plinth.
