Ferrari Monza SP1, Grigio Titanio

Ferrari unveiled the Monza SP1 and its two-seat sister, the SP2, in September 2018 as the first cars of its Icona series, limited models modelled on classic Ferraris, in this case the 750 Monza, 250 Testarossa and 166 MM. The SP1 has one seat, set to one side of the car, and no windscreen; a patented Virtual Windshield turns the airflow away from the driver instead. The 6.5-litre V12, based on the engine of the 812 Superfast, makes 799 bhp, which made the pair the most powerful factory Ferrari V12 road cars to that date. Ferrari built 499, priced at 1.58 million euros before options, and in 2020 the SP1 won the Ferrari Styling Centre the Compasso d'Oro industrial design award.

This piece is in Grigio Titanio, a metallic grey with a blue cast, with a yellow stripe along the leading edge of the bonnet and a yellow fairing behind the driver's seat. The single seat is tan, the passenger side closed over. The wheels are silver split five-spoke designs over yellow calipers, and the tail carries a MONZA SP1 plate between two pairs of exhausts in a carbon diffuser. It sits on a pale grey suede base with a Monza SP1 plaque at the front, and a small yellow driver's helmet comes with it. It is built at 1:18.
