The Monza SP1 was Ferrari's first "Icona" car, a single-seat barchetta drawn directly from the front-engined racers of the 1950s and built around a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 with no roof, no windscreen, and a virtual wind shield that throws air over the driver's head. Look at it from the side and the whole car is one continuous gesture: a long sculpted bonnet, a faired headrest flowing back into the tail, exposed carbon along the sill and diffuser, and a tonneau cover where a passenger would normally sit. It was sold only to Ferrari's most loyal clients, and the included scale helmet is a nod to the fact that this is a car to wear as much as to drive.
The finish here is a pale metallic blue that shifts towards silver in the light, with a yellow Scuderia shield on the nose, polished five-spoke wheels and yellow calipers, and a tan leather cockpit picked out against the cool body. It is built at 1:18 on a presentation base with a matching miniature helmet alongside.
