The F40 was the last car Enzo Ferrari personally signed off, built to mark the marque's fortieth anniversary and stripped to a single purpose: speed without apology. It had a twin-turbo V8, a Kevlar and carbon shell, sliding plexiglass windows and that towering rear wing, and Ferrari quoted a top speed of 324 km/h (201 mph). This one wears Kato-san's treatment for Liberty Walk: an LB-R Works wide-body kit that bolts riveted arches, a deep front splitter, and a colossal swan-neck wing onto the most uncompromising Ferrari of its era, finished in flat black with full Monster Energy graphics and bronze-centred multi-spoke wheels on Toyo rubber. The rear deck stays open to the engine and the quad exhaust exits a slatted diffuser, a time-attack reading of an icon that already needed no help.
Matte black is the hardest finish to get right at scale, and here it reads dead-flat and even across every panel, the green and white sponsor decals crisp against it, the carbon wing and louvres picked out separately. It is built at 1:18 on a mirrored presentation base.
