Ferrari unveiled the LaFerrari at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Its 6.3-litre F140 V12 produced 800 PS on its own, and the HY-KERS electric unit added 163 PS, for a combined 963 PS and 900 Nm. The chassis is a carbon-fibre monocoque, and the design came from the Ferrari Styling Centre under Flavio Manzoni. Only 499 coupés were built, each costing more than a million euros, and a 500th car was later sold at auction for 7 million US dollars, with the money going to earthquake relief. Three years after the coupé, the open Aperta followed.
This model is in Fuji White, a pearl white, with a gloss black roof and black five-spoke wheels over red calipers. The low nose with its central spar, the deep side intakes and the black diffuser show clearly against the pale paint, and the LaFerrari script sits on the tail between the round lamps. It rests on a red leather base, with a silver BBR plaque at the front that names the car and reads Edizione Limitata. BBR builds it at 1:43.
