Ferrari FXX-K Evo, Candy Red

The FXX K began as a track-only research car built from the LaFerrari, first shown at the Yas Marina Circuit at the end of 2014. Ferrari made 40 of them for its Client Test Driver programme. The V12 was raised to 860 PS and the electric motor to 190 PS, 1,050 PS together with more than 900 Nm, at a dry weight of 1,165 kg, and the car made 540 kg of downforce at 200 km/h. In October 2017 the Evo package followed, offered on new cars and as a kit for the existing ones: a fixed twin-profile rear wing on side fins and a central fin, reshaped bumpers and extra vortex generators under the floor, for 23 per cent more downforce than before.

Here the Evo is finished in a deep candy red that darkens almost to black in the shadows, with white bands across the nose and along the lower flanks. The number 93 is on the doors in white with a dark outline, a small Union flag sits on each wing endplate and an Italian tricolour on the nose. The roof, splitter, sills, diffuser and wing are in bare carbon, the diffuser fins edged in red. The wheels are grey multi-spoke on Pirelli tyres, and the car sits on a white base with a black plaque. It is built at 1:18.
