The F8 Spider was the open version of the F8 Tributo, which Ferrari unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the successor to the 488 and as a homage to the last 45 years of its mid-engined V8s. Both cars used the engine of the 488 Pista, a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 of 720 PS. The Spider's folding hard top takes 14 seconds to open or close and works at up to 45 km/h, and Ferrari claimed the same performance as the coupé: 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 8.2 seconds and 340 km/h. It weighed 1,400 kg dry, and the 296 later took over from the F8.
This model is in red with the roof folded away, showing the black seats, the buttresses behind them and the vents at the front of the rear wings. The wheels are black five-spoke designs, the nose carries a carbon splitter, and the tail shows the F8 Spider script, two round lamps on each side and the carbon diffuser. It sits on a red leather base, with a black plaque at the front that names the model and reads Edizione Limitata. BBR builds it at 1:43.
