Ferrari F40 LM, Blue

The F40 was never meant to race, and then it did anyway. Privateers turned Ferrari's twin-turbo icon into a GT racer, and the F40 LM ran at Le Mans into the mid-1990s, long after the road car had become a legend. This is the number 56 car in the blue Pilot-Aldix colours from the 1996 24 Hours, white split-rim wheels and a rear wing the road car never wore.

BBR lays the blue livery and sponsor decals over the F40's familiar lines, the model finished to collector standard on a presentation base. The hardest-edged Ferrari of its era, dressed for battle.
