When Ferrari built the 410 Superamerica in the mid-1950s, it was the marque's answer to the very wealthy who wanted a Grand Tourer with a competition heart: a 5.0-litre Lampredi V12 wrapped in coachbuilt elegance, fast enough to be among the quickest road cars of its day. This Pinin Farina-bodied coupe shows why it earned its name, with a long, low nose feeding into a delicate egg-crate grille, slim chrome bumpers, and a roofline that tapers cleanly to a short tail. The chrome wire wheels, contrasting dark roof, and glimpse of red leather mark it as a car built one at a time for clients who answered only to themselves.
Finished in a restrained pearl white that lets the Pinin Farina lines speak, the model carries through the fine details that define the original: the wire spokes, the side vents, the slim brightwork around the glasshouse. It is built at 1:18 and sits on a red display base, a faithful study of one of Maranello's first true gran turismos.
