Pinin Farina based the Series III body on its Superfast show cars of 1956 and 1957, with touches from the 250 GT Berlinetta and the first 250 GT Cabriolet. The first Series III, chassis 1015 SA, appeared at the Paris Motor Show in October 1958 in white with a silver roof, and then at Turin in November in blue with a white roof. The first two cars were five-window coupés with covered headlamps; the ten that followed were all three-window cars, five with covered lamps and five with open ones set further forward on the wings. All twelve were left-hand drive, with aluminium opening panels and steel for the rest of the body, and the Lampredi V12 gave 400 bhp.
BBR finishes this three-window coupé in a deep metallic ruby red, with a beige cabin. The headlamps are open, in chrome rims, either side of the egg-crate grille, and a dark strip runs back from the bonnet scoop. Behind each front wheel is a three-bar vent in a chrome surround, with a Pininfarina badge beside it, and louvres cut through the rear pillars. Chrome trim frames the glass, the car runs on chrome wire wheels, and two pairs of exhaust tips sit under the full-width rear bumper. It stands on a grey leather base with a plaque naming the 410 Serie III. BBR builds it at 1:18.
