The 250 Testa Rossa took its name from its cam covers, painted bright red: Testa Rossa means red head. Ferrari introduced it at the end of the 1957 season, and 33 were built in all, 19 of them for independent teams. The engine was the Colombo-designed Tipo 128 V12 of 2,953 cc, rated at 300 hp at 7,000 rpm. The customer cars had left-hand drive, a live rear axle and the pontoon-fender bodies Scaglietti built for 1958. Testa Rossas won Le Mans in 1958, 1960 and 1961, and Ferrari took the World Sportscar Championship constructors' title in each of those years.

BBR paints this one white with a broad blue stripe from nose to tail, the United States racing colours of the period, which called for a white body with blue lengthwise stripes. The pontoon wings sweep back from the nose and its mesh grille, the headlamps sit under clear covers, and small Ferrari shields sit on the front wings. Exhaust pipes run beneath the doors to paired tailpipes at the back, the cockpit is trimmed in red with a wood-rimmed wheel behind a low wrapround screen, and a fairing rises behind the driver's seat. The car runs on chrome wire wheels on a tan leather base with a Ferrari plaque. BBR builds it at 1:18.
