Bentley Flying Spur Azure, Black

Bentley introduced Azure in May 2022 as a specification built around the wellbeing of the people inside, and the Flying Spur was among the models to receive it. The company consulted neuroscientists on colour, texture, touch and scent, and fitted every Azure with its Front Seat Comfort Specification: 22-way adjustable front seats with heating, cooling, six massage programmes and adjustable side bolsters. Wellness quilting, a choice of open-pore woods and Azure embroidery on the seats completed the cabin. Outside, the changes were quiet: Azure badges, chrome front grilles, 22-inch wheels of their own and, as standard, the 48-volt active anti-roll system.

The model is in gloss black, with chrome grille vanes, a chrome Flying B and bright turbine-style wheels. Azure script sits low on both front wings and appears again on the passenger side of the dashboard. Inside, orange hide covers the fluted seats, the steering wheel and the quilted door panels, set against black on the upper dash, the fascia and the centre console, where the knurled controls and the drive selector are picked out in chrome. Chrome also frames the windows and runs along the waist and sills. It rests on a black velvet base with white stitching, and the etched Henson & Heaven plaque gives an edition of 30.
