Of the four-strong Vanquish Zagato family, the Shooting Brake was the rarest and arguably the most quietly radical: only 99 built, hand-finished at Gaydon and clothed by Zagato in carbon fibre. The long roofline that sweeps into a flagged tail is the whole point: a grand tourer reimagined as an estate, with a tailgate that opens onto a leather-and-wood load bay rather than a conventional boot. From the side you read its character at once: the double-bubble roof, the discreet Z badge on the haunch, the muscular shoulders feeding into those circular bullet tail lamps. Powered by the 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12, it was built for owners who already had the supercars and wanted something no one else would have.
In solid black the bodywork does what gloss black always promises and rarely delivers, holding a single unbroken reflection from nose to tail while the exposed carbon splitter, diffuser and rocker trims stay matte against it. The dark multi-spoke wheels and amber brake calipers keep the stance purposeful rather than ornamental, and the cream interior reads clearly through the glass. H&H presents it at 1:18 on a fabric-topped plinth, finished to the standard the original deserved.
