Much of the Valkyrie's downforce is made underneath it. The underfloor uses the Venturi and Bernoulli effects, and at high speed the car produces around 18 kN of downforce, close to 1,800 kgf. The car was conceived by Adrian Newey, then Red Bull Racing's chief technical officer, with Aston Martin. Aston Martin planned to race it in the 2021 World Endurance Championship, dropped the plan in February 2020 and revived it in 2023 as the Valkyrie AMR-LMH. The first ten road cars reached customers in the last quarter of 2021, fewer than had been planned, and production ended in December 2024.
This FrontiArt model is in Sabiro Blue, a deep metallic blue, with silver lower flanks carrying a large Union Jack in grey and white and the Valkyrie script behind each front wheel. White picks out the front wing, the edges of the rear diffuser and the rear wing supports, and orange tan upholstery shows through the canopy. The wheels are grey multi-spoke rims, and VALKYRIE plates sit front and rear. The carbon weave base carries two black plaques, one with the Aston Martin wings and the Valkyrie name, the other with FrontiArt's logo. FrontiArt builds it in resin at 1:18.
