The Valkyrie began as a project between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing, conceived by Adrian Newey, then Red Bull's chief technical officer, together with Andy Palmer, Christian Horner and Simon Sproule. Its first codename, Nebula, stood for Newey, Red Bull and Aston Martin Lagonda; it later became AM-RB 001. A non-running full-scale model was shown at Aston Martin's Gaydon headquarters in July 2016, and the Valkyrie name, from the figures of Norse mythology, followed in March 2017. Miles Nurnberger oversaw much of the exterior design. Production ran from November 2021 to December 2024.
FrontiArt finishes this coupé in Lime Essence, a sharp yellow green over black lower bodywork, with a thin red stripe running along the spine and over the rear deck. The canopy is tinted, the wheels are black multi-spoke rims and VALKYRIE plates sit front and rear. From behind, the bridge-like rear wing, the twin exhaust outlets set high in the tail and the open diffuser tunnels are all modelled, and the carbon front wing hangs low over the base. The carbon weave base carries two black plaques, one with the Aston Martin wings and the Valkyrie name, the other with FrontiArt's logo. FrontiArt builds it in resin at 1:18.
