The DB12 is the car with which Aston Martin stopped calling its front-engined GT a grand tourer and started calling it a "super tourer." Built on a heavily reworked bonded-aluminium structure, it carries a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 of around 671bhp, a stiffer body and a wholly new electronic architecture, all of it aimed at a buyer who wants continent-crossing pace without the harder edges of a track car. You can read the intent in the shape here: a wide, low grille, the long bonnet running back to a cab-rearward glasshouse, and that fast roofline tapering into haunches over the rear wheels. It is a car meant to be driven a long way, quickly, in comfort.
This example wears Zenith White, a clean, cool white that lets the surfacing and the dark contrast roof do the talking, set off by gunmetal multi-spoke wheels and the discreet rear lip. The casting captures the badging crisply, down to the DB12 script and the slim full-width tail treatment. MotorHelix renders it at 1:18 on a presentation base.
