Aston Martin DB12, Iridescent Emerald

Under design chief Marek Reichman, the DB12 took several styling cues from the DBS: a larger grille, wider tracks and new LED headlamps. The coupé is 4,725 mm long and 1,980 mm wide but only 1,295 mm high, on a 2,805 mm wheelbase, and weighs 1,685 kg at the kerb. It keeps Aston's Swan doors. Aston said the car drew on 75 years of DB heritage, and inside it gave the DB12 an all-new cabin and infotainment system. Production is at Gaydon, under the model code AM572.

Iridescent Emerald is a bright metallic green that leans towards blue in shadow, carried here over the roof as well as the body. The wheels are bronze, with thin split spokes, and behind them sit drilled discs. Through the glass the cabin shows orange-tan trim. ASTON MARTIN script sits in each side vent, and the tail has the full-width light bar, ASTON MARTIN lettering and a DB12 plate above a black diffuser.
