Aston Martin unveiled the DB12 on 24 May 2023 at the Cannes Film Festival, as the replacement for the DB11, and billed it as the world's first Super Tourer. It was the first Aston Martin to carry the company's new logo. The car is a deep reworking of the DB11 more than a fresh design, with a bigger grille, wider tracks, new LED headlamps, a stiffer structure and an all-new interior. The infotainment system was new as well, with online connectivity, a companion app and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is built at Gaydon in Warwickshire.

Digital Violet is a bright metallic purple, set off here by a gloss black roof and black mirror caps. The two-tone multi-spoke wheels have dark faces with machined edges, ASTON MARTIN script sits in each side vent, and the wide grille is filled with silver bars. At the back the slim light bar spans the tail above ASTON MARTIN lettering, a DB12 plate and a black diffuser. The car stands on a black base with a mirrored floor, its plaque naming the Aston Martin DB12 Coupé. MotorHelix builds it at 1:18.
