It was previewed by the Mission E concept at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and revealed in production form at the same show four years later, with an 800-volt charging system developed for it. The name refers to the horse on the Stuttgart coat of arms at the centre of the Porsche crest; in Turkish, tay means a young horse and can means lively. The original Turbo S produced 560 kW at its peak. Akira Nakai's RAUH-Welt Begriff, rough world concept, is best known for wide-body kits on Porsche 911s, and this model dresses the Taycan in the same way.

The body is white with bolt-on wide arches, a carbon front splitter lettered Zweite Entwicklung and the number 59 on the doors and in a roundel on the front lid, where red and blue stripes built from repeated 59s run back to the windscreen. RAUH-Welt crosses the top of the windscreen, the mirror caps are red, and red, white and blue pinstripes follow the shoulders above blue lower sills. Black multi-spoke wheels on tyres lettered idlers show red brake callipers. At the back are a carbon roof, a large wing with striped end plates, and RWB and Zweite Entwicklung on the tailgate. The car stands on a white leather-look base with red stitching. It is built at 1:18.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0821/8519/1637/files/TAH-13055-02_1a37b83f-ca2e-4aa0-a708-72e87cf58c67.jpg?v=1791404816
