The body is made entirely of carbon fibre. Together with a new position for the engine, the carbon panels improved the weight balance and stiffened the car, and they helped bring the kerb weight down to 990 kg.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis model shows that material openly: the whole body is finished in clear-coated carbon weave. Gold is the accent, in a fine pinstripe around the side windows and along the sills, the PORSCHE script on the doors, the rings around the headlamps, the fuel cap on the bonnet and the five-spoke centre-lock wheels. Inside, black shell seats with chequered inserts sit against carbon trim, with a gold roll cage behind them. At the rear are the DLS plate, the Singer script on the engine grille and twin tailpipes. The carbon-weave base carries a plaque reading D\u0026amp;C, with the Singer script and Limited Edition, one of 20.
