The engine is the centre of it. Rothsport Road and Race of Sherwood, Oregon, rebuilds Porsche's 3.6-litre flat-six as a 4.0-litre unit, still air-cooled, with individual throttle bodies and two-stage MoTeC engine management. It makes more than 400 hp, revs to 7,800 rpm and drives the rear wheels through a Getrag G50 six-speed manual gearbox. Around it, every body panel except the doors is carbon fibre.

This example is white with a red cabin that shows through every window. A grey stripe runs along each sill carrying PORSCHE in red, and the same name is spelt out in silver across the engine lid. The five-spoke wheels are polished, with the Porsche crest at the centre. A carbon splitter sits under the nose, and at the back a full-width red light bar runs above a Gunther Werks plate and twin central tailpipes. Inside, red upholstery fills carbon-shelled bucket seats, the door cards are carbon with a Gunther plate above the pull, and the top of the dashboard is carbon too. The carbon pattern base carries a plaque naming Timothy & Pierre and the Gunther Werks 400R, reading Limited Edition, one of 20. Timothy & Pierre builds it at 1:18.

https://www.automotivehouse.com/products/porsche-911-gunther-werks-400r-white-red-interior-timothy-pierre-1-18
